| BESIDE STILL WATERS My life is shaped beside still waters where the love of God still flows along a path of life where the cross of Calvary grows A path of spiritual knowledge where the flowers of life ascend toward a heavenly home of beauty where secrets dwell within Eyes have not seen ears have not heard preparation by a king angels walk there, My celebration will soon begin just after my eyes close down the earthly sound the music will begin I hear the sound more each day I get closer to the cross I’ve been traveling this road so long I raise my hands and worship him inside his spirit I’m lost Lost away from sin and strife a world of total peace the worries and cares of mortality are way on out of my reach Down on my knees in heavenly bliss my song of praise I sing My adoration for the king my worship long and sweet I can’t wait to join him and walk on golden streets! ©Mary Alice Bowles |
