| Taking care of baby` |
| I saw this daddy taking complete care of this young one by himself! Then I read that the daddy cardinal feeds the young of their first brood by himself while female builds their second nest! This is Prince. He is the only Northern Cardinal that is allowed in our back yard! He dominates the yard and guards it daily. I have watched him now for 2 years. His mate is also the only female cardinal that is allowed in our back yard and this is their fledging. |
