OH GOD PLEASE HELP US My America, where are you? Where did you go with your sunshine? Why can I not feel your touch My heart aches and pains for you so very much. The rains fall The wind blows Destruction all through our land Why do we not hear nor see Is this really happening or is it just me?. Our America, a lady in distress Please let’s send out the S.O.S. Let’s pray without ceasing Let our God see us on our knees Let’s cry out to him Our children are sinking in a world of sin We must awake and see “Oh God please save our nation” Our chances are so very slim If we don’t call upon him Put the act of love back inside the home where it belongs With husband and wife who have a license and are Called dad and mom Get prostitutes off the street Ear-rings out of the nose In this America, prostitutes come out smelling like a rose And end up on talk shows In this America, women even get on talk shows And have a paternity test to see which one of the men she slept with is the daddy of her children. Now, let’s me and you talk a little while “Is this us? Is this America”? My grandma and grandpa would turn over in their grave. “Can we be saved”? Please God bring America back, make us brand new Where husband and wife cling together as one Children go to school and do not carry guns They are dressed as children And don’t look like Halloween goons What our children need is you and only you, Oh God help us to pray Let us seek your face, Oh God, tell us what to say. We cannot rebuild America with wood and nails It takes the spirit of the Living God to set the captives free Let God put the wind back in our sails. Let us go back Oh God, back to the beginning where our America Was founded on your love You were our foundation and guide. You were forever by our side. George Washington, our first president said: “You do well to learn about all the religion Of Jesus Christ” Have we done our best to teach our children about this Jesus Christ? The one who gave his life’s blood that we might inherit eternal life We must teach Jesus with all our might. Benjamin Rush one of the signers of the Declaration said: “My only hope of salvation is in the infinite, transcendent love of God manifested to the world by the death of His Son upon the Cross, Nothing but his blood will wash away my sin, I rely exclusively upon it. Come Lord Jesus: Come quickly”! Can America still say this day, ‘Come quickly Lord Jesus”! Do we still await the rapture? Do we watch for his return, or have we forgotten what he said, that he would come again! Oh Lord, don’t let your return catch us in our sin! Roger Sherman, signer of both the Declaration and Constitution said: “I believe that there is one only living and true God, existing in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, the same substance equal in power and glory. That the scriptures of the old and new testaments are a revelation from God and a complete rule to direct us how we may glorify and enjoy him”! Is God the ruler of your life? Are your enjoying him to the fullest of his capacity as your Father? Just think about how much a Father loves his child We are his children, and we must glorify him with believing that he is And he will rescue us from a sin-filled nation John Witherspoon, Signer of the Declaration wrote this: I shall now entreat…..you in the most earnest manner to believe in Jesus Christ, for “there is not salvation in any other” (Acts 4:12)… If you are not clothed with the spotless robe of His righteousness, you must forever perish. Gods word is all truth, and If America doesn’t turn back to God, then we are lost. I can honestly say that I have been watching for the rapture like my green grass looks for rain. Proverbs 14:34 “Righteousness exalteth a nation but sins is a reproach to any People.” Psalm 11:3 “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Oh righteous people of America, we must fight against sin, We must pray Pull together in love and stay rooted in the Word We must make sure that our foundation is not destroyed by this sinful generation Let’s all stand up and make this proclamation, I love you My Lord My life is in you Oh Lord It is only through you that we live and breathe and have our being And I thank you for being Lord Of my life!
