| OH SWEET EARTH EARTH, sweet wonderful earth, how can I live without you? Surround me with your inner beauty! Tell me, can you exist without me? How can my spirit survive without you? I love you earth! Created by the thoughts of you, “OH GOD”! “Oh earth, I need to feel your tender spring green grass under my feet I need to touch the morning dew on a summer rose! Kick a snow ball with my toes; collect the leaves of a fall day and paste them in book, I love the fall look! Knowing that my God knows That my heart cries out to him in the form of nature singing! Oh earth, please hug me, and wrap your sweet corners around me For I am a daughter, blessed by living! Blessed by breathing your sweet smelling oxygen, opening each Brain cell into seeing your blue skies, and listening for the special Sound of a summer thunderstorm. I breathe the air of a million ancestors! How for do I go back, back to the beginning, When God said, “Let there be light”! Then goodness and mercy was spread like a blanket Covering his sweet earth with sunshine, love and laughter! If the darkness of a fortnight must capture me COVER ME SWEET EARTH, LET ME REST WITHIN YOUR BOSOM For I must sleep the sleep of a zillion summers Steadfast and easy sleep, knowing I am waiting for the sound of a trumpet! Knowing “the promise” was made for me to rest in beauty! “Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard” “I must go away and prepare a place for you”, Living with a King in a kingdom beyond spring time, beyond summer, Beyond fall and beyond winter!
