           YELLOW WARBLER
              Dendroica petechia
Size 5" (13 cm.)

The male is a all yellow warbler, including tail, with orange streakes on
the chest and belly. He has a long pointed dark bill. 

The Female is the same as male, lacking orange streaking.
The juvenile is similar to adult, only much duller.
The female builds a nest cup and has one brood per year.

She has 4 to 5 white eggs with brown markings..
Incubation period is 11 to 12 days, the female incubates.

Fledgings appear in about 10 to 12 days Male and female both feed the young ones.

They migrated all the way to the southern states, Mexico, Central and South America.

They eat insects.
